Changes to the lunch menu
There are a few changes to the lunch menu for May:
May 10 - Breakfast will be –Pancakes
May 11 - There will be Breakfast for Lunch
May 17 - Breakfast will be –Cereal
May 18 - Lunch will be Hot Dogs for Field Day
May 21 - Breakfast will be a Pizza Bagel
May 23 - Lunch will be Lasagna
May 24 - Breakfast will be Pancakes

Every month Northeast celebrates our students’ outstanding work for the month.
Awards include classroom BEEPS, Golden BEEPS winners for behavior from every class, our Purple Broom award for cleanest class, Principal’s Writing Award, and Teacher BEEPS Award.

Changes at Northeast
The most important summer activity for improving our school: hiring excellent teachers. Northeast parents, teachers and students engaged in an exhaustive process in hiring teachers from near and far. Through eight rounds of interviews, over 250 applicants were considered, over 50 applicants were interviewed. One teacher was hired from Virginia, another from North Carolina.
"This was about doing whatever it takes to bring in strong teachers. Everything we did this summer, the moves and the new hires, has been about creating instructional excellence and a strong teaching teams. I am excited about the opportunity for us to grow and perform. Together, we can make a difference for our kids and our community." - Mr. Clow
Changes include Mr. Dodd's move to 6th grade; Mrs. Tompkins to 5th grade; Mrs. Bates to 2nd grade; Mrs. Knutson to 2nd grade; Mrs. Allensworth to 3rd grade.
