Attendance Area for Northeast
Summer Continues Without Mr. Clow...
While students and teachers linger in sleep, or splash in refreshing pools, or in the Eisenbarth's case, go white water rafting, I am back hard at work. Our secretary, Judy Born, is back as well. I enjoyed my break visiting friends and family in Chicago and New Hampshire. And, I am ready to get on with things here. Stop by and say hello if you are so inclined. I would love for students to share summer photos with me. You still have two plus weeks of vacation - enjoy.
Some notes:
1. We continue to offer ALL-DAY tuition based kindergarten. This will be enrollment based, so just a few more students will make this work. Please call Judy at 303-655-2550.
2. School begins August 12th. The school district will use the first two days as assessment days. Students will not be attending for a full day of school during assessment times. Students are scheduled based on last name and will attend for assessment time listed below:
A through F Thursday, August 12th from 8:30-11:30
G through L Thursday, August 12th from 12:30-3:30
M through R Friday, August 13th from 8:30-11:30
S through Z Friday, August 13th from 12:30-3:30
Students first full day of school will be Monday, August 16th for 1st thru 5th graders. Kindergartners first day of school will be Thursday, August 19th. Normal school hours are 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for 1st thru 5th graders.
3. We sent home class assignments with report cards. I worked to accomodate parent requests. At this time, I will not be changing class assignments. However, please let Judy know if you would like to make a change. I will try to accomodate a request depending on the total number of requests.

Northeast is considering offering a tuition based all day kinder. Cost ranges from $270-$310 per month. Please call the office if interested.

CHANGED TO SATURDAY, MAY 8th at 9am
Northeast PTO has worked through this year to improve our grounds. Landscaping and greeneries from around the area donated 24 trees. Come support this great effort.
We will also be collecting aluminum cans. Bring friends, shovels, gloves and support your community school.

Our PTO Grounds committee has helped us (along with 27J Grounds) to get a new fence, concrete filled into parking islands, a new marquee and an outdoor classroom. And, last weekend, our fabulous PTO decorated the staff lounge. It looks...marvelous.
